Learning of description of basic number concepts, instantiation of numbers, sets, inequalities, problems, equations, functions ve trigonometry
Basic physical and chemical concepts. Unit systems. Latent and sensible heat, temperature and temperature measurement. Pressure and pressure measurement. Gas and gas equations. Work, power and energy. Heat transfer and heat transfer modes: Conduction, convection and radiation. Basic fluid properties, flow types. Continuity andf energy equations. Flow in channels and pipes. Definiton of cooling, cooling types, basic mechanical, compression cooling cycle and applications, examples. Cooling cycles on P-h diagram. Definiton of air-conditioning, types and application areas. Psychrometric diagram.
Students will be taught how to use the written communication tools accurately and efficiently in this course. Various types of written statements will be examined through a critical point of view by doing exercises on understanding, telling, reading, and writing. Punctuation and spelling rules, which are basis of written statement, will be taught and accurate usage of these rules for efficient and strong expression will be provided.
This is a compulsory English course which provides basic language skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking at the beginning level.

This course provides a general information of the events from the end of the 19. century until the end of the Turkish War of Independence and the signing of the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923.
The course will help students recognize the skills needed for university life and their career goals. These skills include self-awareness, goal setting, time management, effective communication, mindfulness and analytical thinking. The course will also raise students’ awareness on problems such as addiction and bullying.

With special reference to the Principals of Atatürk the course will examine the philosophy of the foundation and existence of the republican regime as well as the democratic developments in secular Turkey during the twentieth century and in the era of extending globalization.

Surface modelling with WCS, UCS, and 3D command, 3D navigation. Solid object modelling with modeling tool. Drawings with basic solid object modelling and editing, shading, scaling. Creation of a library with the principles of climatisation and circuits theory. Drawings of circuits. Drawings of climatisation electrical circuits.
Refrigerating systems. Cabinet assembly. Compressors, condensers. Evaporators, filters, capillary tubes. Thermals, relays, capacitors. Thermostats, fans. Refrigerant fluids and oils. Pressurization, vacuum and leak test. Charge, discharge and recovery operations. Measurement and evaluation of pressure, temperature and flow. Theoretical and applied pressure-enthalpy diagram. Calculation of heat capacity of the refrigeration elements.
Introduction to semiconductors used in electronic components. p and n type materials and structures and applications of electronic circuit components (Diode, BJT, JFET, MOSFET) made of these materials.
Welding methods, processes before and after welding.
Selection of central air-conditioning components. Cooling load calculation. Selection of cooling and heating units. Moisturizing, filtration and cooling tower units. Air-conditioning units and operation.
Cooling systems. The classification of commercial-type cooling systems. The circuit diagrams and the operating principle of commercial-type cooling systems. Compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valve and secondary elements. Service operations in commercial-type cooling systems. Evaluation of the performance in commercial-type cooling systems.
Operation principles of electric engines. Characteristics of DC engines. Single phase asynchronous engines. Three phase asynchronous engines. Step engines. Servo engines.
