Course Objectives | The aim of this course is to give knowledge on fundamental computer networks, their operation principles, physical devices used in networks, cabling types, network topologies and installation. |

Course Description | Fundamental concepts of computer networks. OSI modelling. Network topologies. Network devices. Network and cross cables. 5-4-3 (network extension) rules. IEEE 802 standards. TCP/IP protocol and its operation principles. LAN, WAN and internet principles. |
