    Course Objectives This course aims to equip our students with skills such as self-awareness, self-expression, and developing effective relationships in accordance with the socio-cultural structure they are part of. Therefore, theoretical and practical training is provided to ensure that students gain proficiency in written, verbal, and non-verbal communication, which they will need in their career lives.
    Learning Outcomes

    The students who succeeded in this course;

    • will be able to explain the concept of communication and its relationship with other disciplines,
    • will be able to define the communication process along with its elements,
    • will be able to explain linear, cyclical, and spiral communication models,
    • will be able to classify written, verbal, and non-verbal types of communication,
    • will be able to evaluate intrapersonal, interpersonal, and cultural communication types,
    • will be able to define rhetoric-based persuasion strategies,
    • will be able to deliver face-to-face presentations using effective communication methods.
    Course Description This course consists of content drawn from fields related to communication, such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, and linguistics, as well as sector-based case analyses.
