Course Objectives Occupational Health and Safety Associate degree students; Here is the definition of health and wellness and the concepts of precaution. Protection policies and employee health studies. Personal protective equipment and legal regulations. Major types of PPE and places of use. It is aimed to acquire knowledge and skills about rules that should be considered in the use of PPE.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to define the relationship between work and health and explain preventive health security studies
  • will be able to explain types and usage areas of personal protective equipment
  • will be able to list the training and attention to be given about the use of PPE in the workplace
  • will be able to explain the legal regulations related to PPE
  • will be able to make a training application about PPE at the workplace
Course Description Associate Degree students will learn about the types and use of personal protective equipment used in the workplace by learning the work to be done in the workplace within the scope of work-health relationship and preventive health and safety services and basic health services. They will also learn the legal regulations with PPE. They will be able to do employee training
