Course Objectives | With this course, the student will be given the competences for assembling household refrigerators which also refers to mechanical refrigeration cycle. |

Course Description | Refrigerating systems. Cabinet assembly. Compressors, condensers. Evaporators, filters, capillary tubes. Thermals, relays, capacitors. Thermostats, fans. Refrigerant fluids and oils. Pressurization, vacuum and leak test. Charge, discharge and recovery operations. Measurement and evaluation of pressure, temperature and flow. Theoretical and applied pressure-enthalpy diagram. Calculation of heat capacity of the refrigeration elements. |

2 | Recognizing instruments and devices used in air-conditioning systems and gaining the ability of handcraft for constructing this systems in accordance with work safety rules (welding, pipe cutting and bending, countersinking, etc...).
