    Course Objectives The aim of the course is to explain the insulation of water, heat, sound and fire insulation in building structures; to teach the principles laid down by standards and regulations and to teach the materials used in insulation as well as the principles of applications.

    Course Description Interactions of water and building elements, the damages of water on structures, application procedures, thermal insulation, general information about the energy, basic information about the temperature and heat transfer, the definitions of sound, noise, frequency decibels, sound intensity, physical and psychological effects of noise, sound insulation materials and application procedures, relevant regulations, fire insulation and fire-proofing materials.
