Course Objectives | The aim of this course is to understand the importance of the process of furniture design, to learn detailed information on the norms of human ergonomics and universal design principles and also to gain the ability to apply the right materials in the right place. |

Course Description | Furniture design criteria, materials used in furniture making and accessories will be introduced and their properties will be explained. The design process of a furniture is discussed and it includes subjects such as the technical drawings of the furniture design according to the identified problems and related prototypes and then the applications in the work shop environment. |
