The Building of the Development Workshop Started

The building of Development Workshop Project, initiated by Izmir University of Economics Vocational School, started at Karabağlar Atatürk Vocational and Technical Anadolu High School.

On the first day of the construction of the project, co-sponsored by Izmir Chamber of Commerce 67^th Building Construction and Restoration Committee, Karabağlar Municipality, Sandalyeci, Konfor Furniture, Doxa Office Furniture, and Weber companies,  representatives of the sponsoring companies, Izmir University of Economics academics and students came together. The team, who investigated the demolition and restoration work on site, applied paint primer together.

As part of the Development Workshop Project, bookcases, reading zones and board game tables will be built at Karabağlar Atatürk Vocational and Technical Anadolu High School. Furniture and games manufactured by the students of IUE Vocational School Furniture and Decoration and Interior Design Programs will also take place at the project that aims to create new areas for development of students in order to help students self-develop, socialize, and distract them from bad habits, away from mobile equipment. Additionally, the library is being equipped with extensive resources thanks to the book donation campaign started by IUE Vocational School.
