Accreditation pride

The Radio and Television Programming program of Izmir University of Economics (IUE) Vocational School has successfully passed the inspection conducted by the Communication Research Association (ILAD) and has been accredited. Demonstrating success in various areas, from the subjects covered in the curriculum to the physical facilities provided to students, IUE Radio and TV Programming program has once again proven its educational quality.

ILAD, which works to enhance the quality of communication education across Turkey, completed the accreditation process after months of meticulous examination. IUE Radio and TV Programming program successfully passed evaluations in several areas, including faculty and curriculum, administrative structure, educational infrastructure, and studios.

Emre Küheylan, the Director of the IUE Vocational School, stated that they are focused on providing the best possible education to young people. Expressing their pride and happiness in being accredited until 2026, Küheylan said, “This year, ILAD included vocational schools in its accreditation scope for the first time. We are one of the two vocational schools in Turkey that succeeded in being accredited in the field of radio and television programming education.”

TRAINING QUALIFIED YOUTH

Emphasizing that they are training the successful names of the future with applied and theoretical courses, Küheylan said, “Communication and media tools have always been elements that guide and shape societies. Today, we witness the power of communication and media activities in every field. Our goal is to meet the need for qualified personnel by imparting the principles of modern broadcasting to our students and to train professionals who can contribute to solving problems related to their field with technical and theoretical knowledge. I can proudly say that we have been successful in this.”
