Reciprocating Aircraft Racing
The 2nd Flying Colors Challenge, a paper plane contest co-organized by Izmir University of Economics Vocational School Civil Aviation Cabin Services, and Civil Aviation Transportation Management Programs for the first time last year, took place on Friday, 3 May at 13.00 at the Ceremony Field on Campus. The colorful, entertaining event was dedicated to the first Turkish Civil Aviation School, established on 21 April 1932 by Vecihi Hürkuş, and to first students of the school, 2 females and 10 males. Trainers from the Turkish Aeronautical Association taught the competing students how to make paper planes before the contest and at the end of the contest; the winners were given their awards.
