Course Objectives The aim of this course is to cover the basic information about packaging design, its types, techniques used in packaging design, the importance between different materials and forms, the relationship between brand identity - subject-target audience and packaging design.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to Make designs suitable for form, size, color and functionality in packaging design,
  • Will be able to improve his balance, integrity, typography knowledge,
  • will be able to express a thought, a concept or a phenomenon creatively and transform it into a 3D form,
  • Will be able to design by establishing the function - form relationship,
  • Will be able to apply basic graphic design information and techniques within the scope of packaging design,
  • Will be able to improve material usage skills in design.
Course Description The main themes of the course; To be able to design three-dimensional packaging by using graphic design elements and principles, taking into account the product, target audience and sector details.
