Course Objectives This course aims to teach students the types of materials used in the design industry.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to classify the types of materials
  • Will be able to apply the most appropriate ways of using materials,
  • Will be able to prepare wooden veneer sheet,
  • Will be able to process sheet edges,
  • Will be able to prepare wood veneered panels
  • Will be able to process plate edges
  • Will be able to define furniture elements
Course Description This course contains topics such as smart houses, coatings, plaster, doors and windows, work safety and earthquake regulations, insulation, plastering works.
