Course Objectives The aim of this course is to provide the students with an understanding of the principles of lighting techniques in order to provide an adequate and economical solution for lighting problems.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students who successfully complete this course will be able to;
  • Define the subject, purpose and types of illumination,
  • To know lighting types and to define lighting fixtures,
  • Choose appropriate lighting fixture,
  • Explain photometric laws
  • To comprehend light and vision, to understand the basis of light production,
  • Distinguish the lamp types,
  • Explain the working principles of lamps.
