Course Objectives The main aim of this course is to inform students about the problems of the disabled people by examining its relation to the human-environment and teach them how to to create different space designs for the the disabled.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Identify the problems of the disabled people
  • Work out design solutions for various categories that define disability
  • They will have the awareness of the disabled in their life.
  • Describe the anthropometric measures for designs used by the disabled,
  • Have an awareness of what the disabled people in the world and those in Turkey experience,
Course Description The main topics of this course are to understand the situation of the disabled in Turkey , to develop the functional design ideas for the disabled and order to meet their needs in daily life.
