
Lecturer Edit Habif completed her undergraduate education in 2012 at Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, graduating third in her class. After graduation, she worked in various roles in the Sales and Marketing department at Swissotel Büyük Efes, İzmir. In 2014, she started working as a lecturer in the Tourism and Hotel Management program at İzmir University of Economics Vocational School. The same year, she began her master's degree in Business Administration at Dokuz Eylül University. As of 2017, she has been pursuing a PhD in Tourism Management at Dokuz Eylül University.

I was born in 1976 in Bolu and have over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. I have held senior and active roles in the openings of various brands under Hilton Worldwide, Sheraton Inc., and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Since 2014, I have been serving as a senior manager at Ramada Encore İzmir by Wyndham.

Born in 1981, Gökhan Çakır is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, known for his strong leadership and operations management skills. He served for a long time as Director at Mövenpick Hotel İzmir, successfully managing the F&B department’s budget, quality, training, and customer satisfaction processes. He has specialized in team management, service standards improvement, and cost control in the organizations he worked for. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and various management and industry certifications. Currently, he serves as the General Manager of Teruar Urla.

She completed her undergraduate studies in Philosophy at Middle East Technical University and Ege University. In addition to ICF (International Coaching Federation) accredited coaching training programs, she has also completed training in Human Resources Management, Educational Coaching, Speed Reading with Comprehension, and Memory Techniques. Since 2008, she has been an instructor at İzmir University of Economics Continuous Education Center (EKOSEM), teaching Coaching Certificate Programs and Professional Coaching Workshops. She has also taught Basic Coaching courses at Dokuz Eylül University Continuous Education Center (DESEM). Additionally, she has conducted Professional Coaching and Speed Reading Workshops at the İzmir Chamber of Commerce. Moreover, she implements periodic Educational Coaching programs at various universities and educational institutions, providing coaching support for students both individually and in groups during their exam preparation processes. She designs and conducts Executive Coaching and Corporate Coaching Workshops for corporate firms, offering consulting and coaching services to managers. For professional coaches, she develops and conducts workshops on Basic Coaching, Student Coaching, Mentoring, Speed Reading, and Coaching Image, as well as providing individual mentoring services. At International House İzmir Language School, she currently provides professional coaching services to support foreign language learning. She serves as the İzmir representative of the ICF Accredited ID Coaching International "Educational Coaching Program." All her work is gathered under her own brand, Professional Coaching Academy. She also authored her own ICF Accredited coaching education program called the Individual Coach Training Program (January 2020).
Murat Nazlı earned his bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from Bilkent University in 2001. He also completed a Business program at EF School in Brighton, UK. He worked in the purchasing departments of İzmir Hilton and Altınyunus. In 2005, he obtained a master's degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University in the USA, where he also served as a teaching assistant in the Operations Management department for two years. During this time, he participated in various international projects and provided translation services for companies. He completed his second master's degree in 2011 in Management Sciences and Organization at Ege University. In 2016, he graduated from Yaşar University with a PhD in Business Administration. He has numerous international publications and book chapters on innovation, sustainability, and tourism management. He worked as a Lecturer for 11 years at Yaşar University in the departments of Tourism Guidance, Tourism Management, and the Faculty of Business Administration. He currently works at İzmir University of Economics Vocational School and İzmir Institute of Technology. Additionally, he is actively involved in EU projects related to sustainability and carbon footprint (SDG4BIZ and TOUCAN). He holds an Associate Professorship in the field of Tourism.

İlkay Akçakoca works as the Convention & Banquet Sales Manager at Kaya İzmir Thermal & Convention Hotel. Having gained experience in event and conference management throughout his career, Akçakoca successfully manages the sales and organizational processes at Kaya Hotels & Resorts’ İzmir branch.

He was born in Ankara. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education at TED Ankara College, he graduated from Boğaziçi University in Computer Engineering and from METU (Middle East Technical University) in Operations Research. He later obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from METU and another Master's degree in Engineering Management from İzmir Institute of Technology. In the industrial sector, he held various positions including IT Manager, Company Executive, Information Technologies Director, General Manager, and General Coordinator. For the past eight years, he has been teaching courses such as “Computer Applications in Industry” and “Applied Production Systems” at various universities, including the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering at İzmir University of Economics. He also teaches “Beverage Culture” and “Wine Science” courses in the Department of Culinary Arts. His interests include oil painting, with participation in three group exhibitions. He produces his own olive oil using the traditional stone mill method, one of the oldest pressing techniques. He has been making homemade wine for twelve years and currently serves as the president of the EvdeŞarap (Homemade Wine) Association.
