| Course Objectives | Evaluating the meaning and importance of the Turkish Revolution with its main lines, by processing the revolutionary modernization movements in the military, political, socio-cultural and economic fields, from the Turkish War of Independence, led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, to the establishment of the modern Turkish Republic, in a historical perspective. |

| Course Description | In this course, while providing multi-faceted information about Turkey's recent history, the foundation and existence philosophy of the secular democratic republic order is conveyed, so that the future and problems of the globalizing world as well as the century are evaluated with Atatürk's method and worldview. The importance of concepts such as Republic, Democracy and Secularism is explained with examples from internal and external developments in terms of Turkey's integrity. |
