| Course Objectives | This course aims to introduce the general concepts concerning the importance and influence of the environment in tourism development. It enables students to understand the effects of tourism activities on the natural environment, ecological risk analysis, and the importance of the environment for sustainable tourism. It also develops students’ understanding of the balance between tourism and the environment, tourism and environmental policies in Türkiye, and national and international standards. |
