      Course Objectives Skills such as self-awareness, self-expression, and developing effective relationships for the socio-cultural structure are the objectives of this course. Therefore, theoretical and practical training is provided to ensure that our students acquire competencies in written, verbal, and non-verbal communication, which they will need in their career lives.
      Learning Outcomes

      The students who succeeded in this course;

      • explain the concept of communication and its relationship with other scientific disciplines,
      • define the communication process along with its elements,
      • explain linear, circular, and spiral communication models,
      • classify types of written, verbal, and non-verbal communication,
      • evaluate types of intrapersonal, interpersonal, and cultural communication,
      • identify rhetoric-based persuasion strategies,
      • make face-to-face presentations using effective communication methods.
      Course Description This course consists of content derived from fields related to communication, such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, and linguistics, as well as sector-based case analyses.
