| Course Objectives | The aim of this practice-oriented course is to provide students with experience in English-Turkish subtitle translation under professional working environment conditions. |

| Course Description | The course involves analyzing through articles, lectures, and digital subtitle program sampling and students will learn about subtitle translation norms and technical specifications. There are also readings and discussions on concepts such as cultural value transfer through subtitles, competence, and acceptability in audio-visual translation. |
