Course Objectives The aim of this course is to make students, who are Basic Users in the scope of Common European Framework of Reference, achieve A1.1 level, which is named as Breakthrough.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to express themselves on topics like describing their physical appearance and introducing themselves and others
  • Will be able to communicate with a person by giving personal information such as address, telephone number, profession, age, etc
  • Will be able to create short texts like a postcard to their friends introducing themselves or their friends by giving personal information on relevant forms
  • Will be able to follow conversations on market, restaurants and giving directions
  • Will be able to analyze very simple texts on identity information, professions, menu and texts about France
Course Description This course is designed to prepare students for introduce themselves and others, read, understand, and fill registration forms, ask questions and answer about personal information, describe physical appearance, shop at the market, order in a restaurant, and give direction.
