| Course Objectives | The aim of the Sustainability and Environment in Aviation course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to understand environmental impacts and apply sustainability principles in the aviation industry. This course generally focuses on the causes, impacts and mitigation strategies of environmental impacts in the aviation industry. Students learn about carbon emissions in air transport, fuel efficiency, waste management, noise pollution and conservation of natural resources. They also learn about sustainability practices, regulations and industry trends in aviation. |
