Course Objectives The aim of this course is to make students gain receptive and productive skills at A1 level in the scope of the Common European Framework of Reference.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • By the end of this course students will be able to: 1. Express themselves in simple sentences which are mainly isolated about familiar topics;
  • 2. Interact in a very simple conversation by asking questions, answering questions, initiating or responding to simple statements on familiar topics and / or situations.
  • 3. Follow simple, basic speech that is slow and carefully articulated.
  • 4. Analyze very basic listening texts with the highest frequency vocabulary on familiar topics at a very basic level.
  • 5. Produce very simple sentences about familiar topics using simple or basic linking devices.
Course Description This course is designed for students to be able to introduce themselves; use classroom expressions and greetings; ask and answer questions about personal details; give a physical description of people and their personality; talk about family; express ability and opinions.
